










Bloc Climbing will be closed to the public on Sunday, 19th May 2013 for our annual bouldering competition – Bloc Contest 2013! Feel free to rock up on the day and test your skills in a fun, social climbing competition.
As a result of the competition on Sunday, the top rope panels will also be unavailable on Saturday as well.

Jarred was selected for the Australian Youth Team travelling to Canada later this year to compete in the World Youth Championships, after climbing 4 out of 5 qualifying climbs. Congratulations Jarred!!

Following on from Sam’s fantastic result, Dan da Silva also found himself on the podium at yesterday’s Bayside Boulder Bash in Melbourne, finishing 3rd in his category!
Congratulations Dan and Sam – everyone in Melbourne will be talking about how strong Bloc climbers from Sydney are!!
Bloc member, Sam de Guzman took out first place in Junior Male at the Bayside Boulder Bash competition in Melbourne this morning. Representing Bloc, Sam was a clear winner scoring 64 points in a rather unique scoring system, a clear 10 points ahead of second place.
Dan da Dilva is also competing in the Opens category and scored 72 points. We will let you know how he places when the second round of Opens climbers finish shortly.
